About Dr. Tony E. Roach Sr.
 Dr. Roach earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Science from Hiram College, Hiram Ohio [Psychology, Sociology and Economics], a Master’s of Science in Ministry and Evangelism from Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas, and a Doctor of Divinity degree in Marriage and Family also from Abilene Christian University.
Dr. Roach was trained for twenty-seven (27) years under the late reknown pioneer preacher, Bro. John Steve Winston in a program called, The Sound Doctrine Training Program.The Sound Doctrine training program is a Biblical based training program for Evangelist, Gospel Preachers, Ministers and their wives developed by the late great pioneer preacher and educator, Bro. George Phillip Bowser. Bro, G. P. Bowser was responsible for training Bro. Winston in the Sound Doctrine program, making the Sound Doctrine training program over 140 years old.
Although Dr. Roach has earned several degrees, including a terminal doctoral degree, according to him, the training he recieved in the Sound Doctrine training program under Dr. J.S. Winston was the best training of his life. In fact, out of appreciation for his training under Dr. J. S. Winston, Dr. Roach currently serves as the chairman of the John Steve Winston Sound Doctrine Scholarship Foundation, a non-profit scholarship program designed to raise funds for commited young ministers striving to get a Sound Doctrine Christian education.
Dr. Tony E. Roach also received specialized training in the “Social Values Framework Curriculum Process” under his academic mentor, Dr. Lewis Lemmond, a professor of Education at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. Dr. Lemmond was a long time Curriculum Director And Specialist for the Abilene Independent School District. Dr. Lemmond served as Dr. Roach’s primary academic advisor in his doctoral thesis at Abilene Christian University. Dr. Roach's doctoral thesis is a 301 page non-published book called, A Biblical Model For Building New Self-Love In African American Males And Fathers, which ultimately became three books and the natioanally used God’s Love Bank Program and Curriculum.
Currently, in addition to serving as the Evangelist of the Minda St. Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas for the past 27 years; Dr. Roach is also a New Self-Love Motivational Gospel Preacher, Teacher, Speaker, and Author, known for his emphasis on wholistic sound doctrine teaching. According to Dr. Roach, God’s purpose for his life is to help people strengthen their single most relationship with God by realizing they are threefold spiritual beings, putting off their old self-love and putting on new self-love, so they can ultimately discover and fulfill God’s purpose in their life!
Dr. Roach is the CEO and founder of a business and training firm called, “God’s Love Bank Enterprises.” In addition to being a training program, it is also a research institute for developing New Self-Love and New Self-Purpose in human beings of all ages and ethnic groups. The God's Love Bank Institute directs a team of researchers in developing New Self-Love and New Self-Purpose in people from infancy to adulthood. It provides facilitation programs for teaching and counseling individuals, couples, children, youth, adults, families, school systems, colleges, universities, organizations, businesses, and churches.
Dr. Roach designed the God’s Love Bank program and curriculum to teach people globally through God's Love Bank motivational workshops, new self-love seminars, using church programs and curriculums, books, computer programs, audio and video cassettes, and God's Love Bank video and board games. The God’s Love Bank program and curriculum is implemented and maintained daily in a practical church ministry in Abilene, Texas at the Minda St. Church of Christ. Finally, the God's Love Bank program and curriculum is in the process of being presented globally through a synicated radio program called God's Love Bank, and through a 40--Day New Self-Purpose Spiritual Growth Program presented daily via informercial on local television stations in your city!
